He specialises in the guidance of parents and students in order to achieve their acceptance in higher education institutions abroad. His expertise is in preparation of students for the IELTS or TOEFL exams through distance learning. His dedication and continuous learning of new techniques in teaching methods has been showing the last decade over his students academic results.
Joseph since 2003 is the Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Athens, Greece. Due to his profession, he has lived in different places around the world. Back in the ‘90s he worked for learning institutions in London and Dublin as a teacher of English to foreign students from Japan and South Korea. He holds a BSc in Marketing Management from the American College of Greece and an MSc in Communication from Queen’s University in Belfast.
Joseph has accumulated more than 10.000 hours of teaching the English language to students on one-on-one basis and small groups of almost all ages. His expertise is on IELTS, TOEFL and University of Cambridge and Michigan (aka CaMLA) examinations ECCE and ECPE. His students’ high scores in all of the above mentioned tests secure places in world renowned educational institutions such as LSE, UCL, University of Bristol, Queen’s University, University of Toronto, Seneca College, Centennial College, where his tutees attended or attend at the moment.
He has solid knowledge of the requirements of UK and American/ Canadian Universities and Colleges, has prepared numerous prospective students not only with academic material from the University of Cambridge and Michigan but also with his own notes, exercises and printouts. Joseph has a deep interest in advising university candidates to head up for foreign institutions that will best suit their needs and help them realize their dreams.
Joseph speaks Greek, English, Spanish, French and Turkish and derives great satisfaction by his students’ success in their academic life.
